Please note that Field to Fabric Quilt Co. will be closed November 25th for Thanksgiving Day. Keep the Third Thursday evening of each month on your calendar. The November event will be a special Holiday Open House at participating shops, with carriage rides, food trucks and we heard a rumor that Santa will be somewhere downtown. Field to Fabric Quilt Co. features a special item(s) at Thirty percent off regular price. We call it the “Third Thursday Thirty.” Come in November 18th from 4:30-closing at 7 pm. This month we have a limited edition wool press mat kit you will certainly want for yourself and for Christmas gifts. Our favorite Steamfast mini iron will be specially priced as well. Quantities are limited so make plans to join us.
The annual Central KS Quilt Shop Hop begins Sept 30 and continues through October 9, 2021. The event spans 10 days this year so there is plenty of time to visit all the shops and get your passport stamped for great prizes, including a Grand Prize of Martelli mats, rulers and products worth $500!!! The exclusive fabrics are available for pre-order on the website or in store. T-shirts and tote bags are available while supply lasts. You will want to get yours before they are sold out. Quilt photos will be posted soon on the Facebook page and Central KS Quilt Shop hop website. For now we will just tease you with our block. The 9 shops are busy preparing for another fabulous event. Call your friends an make plans for a road trip.

We wanted to tell you about a really fun consumer challenge that is being hosted by one of our vendors, the Jaftex Companies (FreeSpirit Fabrics, Henry Glass Fabrics, The Blank Quilting Corp., Studio E Fabrics, 3 Wishes and A.E. Nathan).
The challenge is called #ScottSentMe and the goal is for you to visit as many quilt shops as possible from September 1, 2021-November 30, 2021 in the United States & Canada. You can find out about the rules and prizes by clicking on this link. Please make sure to read the instructions carefully before diving into the contest as you will need to have valid proof of all shop visits made. Speaking of valid proof, a flyer was created for you to print, decorate and use in your challenge photos. You can find a link to that flyer here.

The Jaftex Companies will be picking winners at random from this page based on photographs posted there. Rumor has it that they have some great giveaways.

Announcing AccuQuilt rentals
Have you wanted the opportunity to use the AccuQuilt cutting system but weren’t sure you were ready for the investment??? New at Field to Fabric Quilt Co…..Accuquilt rental time at our shop. This means you could have a whole quilt cut out within an hour, bindings cut for several quilts or 100’s of hexagons for your EPP project. Rental time can be scheduled for the hand operated Go! cutter ($12/hour) or the larger electric Go Big! model ($15/hour). Dies available limited to stock on hand at this time.
Details: First, you must make an appointment for rental time. Second, you must have a training session and sign a waiver at the beginning of your first rental session. Third, you must own, or purchase, the correct mat for the cutting die you wish to use. It is yours to keep and use for repeat sessions.
