Our resident hopper frog is excited to welcome you for the All KS/NE Quilt Shop Hop happening in April and May. He is also noticing the shop will be OPEN on Tuesdays for the event. We have the exclusive fabric, and magazines with all the details: shops listed by region, the passport, great patterns, and many more goodies related to the hop for only $11.99.
Never fear… the event is separated into regions in case you can’t make it to all the shops. There are great prizes for participants with as few as 5 shop visits. Your prize opportunities get better with every shop you visit and every region completed.
Call your friends, plan your route, and join in this fun adventure. For more info ask at the shop or check out the website https://allkansasnebraskashophop.com

We are excited to be one of the exclusive shops for the Sumner-Cowley Boutique Crawl happening the entire month of April. (Our Shop Hours are M-F 9-5, Th 9-7, and Sat 9-3). This year its a Bingo card to collect as many stamps as you can thru the month. Each Bingo is a chance for more prizes. There are so many fabulous shops to visit in the 5 communities participating.

The calendar shows “Earth Day” on April 22. We want to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to do your part to protect the planet and our precious resources.
Many of you know we collect your fabric and batting scraps to recycle for pet beds for the Cowley County Humane Society. Now we are announcing a new recycling opportunity…
Denim!!!
Bring your worn out, out grown, unused Denim clothing (make sure it is at least 90% cotton) and place in the designated hamper at the shop. We will ship it for Recycling. Blue Jeans Go Green is a fabulous program to recycle denim for housing insulation or food product packaging. Check out the link for all the good things happening in this project. https://bluejeansgogreen.org/

It’s National Quilting Day on March 15th and we are celebrating for a whole week!!! (Closed as usual on Tuesday)
March 14-22th will be our annual Border Run shop hop event. Participating shops are Beehive Quilt Shop in Wellington, Field to Fabric Quilt Co., TART Fabrics in Burden, and new this year, Completely Quilted in Ponca City OK. That’s right, were hopping over the state border. Quilt photos are posted on the Border Run Facebook page and on our shop pages. The theme is “Luck of the Irish Chain.” Our quilts are made in the classic Irish Chain with blues. And, of course, we have all added a unique border to the same central quilt as well as offering a different accent color. Make plans to “hop” with friends. Pick up your FREE passport at the first stop, get it stamped at each shop. You will collect one page of the free pattern at each stop. A featured notion item and fat quarter packs of our selected blue fabrics will be available for purchase at a very special price. Check out the unique personality of each shop.
On display in our classroom will be the entries for the Annual Scrap Bag Challenge. Come be inspired and vote for your favorite.

Have you been counting down the days for our Annual Super Bolt SALE. This year it’s a 2 day event, Feb. 7th and 8th. All fabric on bolts will be 20% off. If you take all the yards on the bolt we take 30% off. SCORE!!!
Clearance fabric is included as well, the bargain room is bursting at the seams. Come early for best selection. Regular shop hours Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-3pm.

Happy New Year 2025
Happy New Year 2025!!!
The end of 2024 causes us to reflect on how quickly the days slip from our grasp and how each moment is important. Thank you “sew” much for your support and encouragement through the past year. We cherish the connections with you and love to be a part in the special projects you create.
As a New Year stretches out before us, we all have resolutions/promises/goals to finish projects already started. Announcing the “2nd Saturday Sew Day” beginning Jan 11, and every 2nd Saturday after. No charge, no reservations (unless it gets too cozy), come sew anytime 9-3pm. One of our team will be available for assistance and Carolyn may be convinced to share her binding tricks. We’re issuing a challenge to finish 12 projects in 2025, details at the shop. Let’s get those projects checked off your list and make it fun as well!!!
